The CNRS research network "Quantum Engineering, Fundamental Aspects to Applications" (IQFA) organizes its 11th colloquium, IQFA'11, at the Maison Minatec, through the support of Université Grenoble Alpes.
Deadline for Registration: : Friday, the 27th of November 2020
Deadline for Abstract Submission: Sunday, the 9th of November 2020
Due to the Covid-19 sanitary crisis, IQFA’11 will entirely be held virtually. The necessary videoconferencing links will be provided to all registered participants in due time. Please register before Nov. 29th to have access to the virtual conference.
The participation to IQFA'11 Colloquium is free, however, registration is mandatory.You can register here. Note that registration can only be done provided you already have an account on SciencesConf.org. Therefore, if you have one, please use it, if not, please create one.
To submit a contribution, please register first here and use only the following latex template (click on the link to download it), prepare an 1-page abstract, and then go to "Submit a contribution" to upload it in the PDF format only.
As usual, only poster contributions are accepted. ~12 of them will be upgraded to invited talks by IQFA's Scientific Committee.
Scope & Objectives of the Colloquium
IQFA'11 is outlined along its usual 5 main investigated thematics (ARTs) that meet perfectly those of the European Flagship on Quantum Technologies.
New fundamental concepts in quantum information, as well as advances in quantum technologies will be promoted during this 3-day meeting.
Thanks to the wide scientific community associated with IQFA, this colloquium will enable participants to exchange on state-of-the-art developments in the vast and active field of quantum engineering and technologies.
The conference is organized around three types of communication:
Invited 1-hour Pedagogical Tutorials (50' + 10' questions) given by internationally recognized experts who will present a synthetic focus on specific topics in the field;
Invited Talks (25' + 5' questions) presenting recent advances in the field. ~15 poster contributions will be ugraded by the scientific committee as invited oral presentations;
Poster sessions enabling a large number of participants to present their results to the quantum information community.
This year, one day will be dedicated to Quantum Computing, from fundamentals to latest trends.
Covered Thematics
The covered thematics are those of IQFA and of the European Flagship on Quantum Technologies.
